A Navajo "horsehair" vase, age unknown. This nice red clay vase has an interior gloss glaze and the unglazed exterior is brushed with a stain to enhance the design. The bold design and imagery is typical of Navajo pottery. It is incised "John Daul" on the bottom and is 3" tall by 5.25" at its widest point. Condition: Good no chips, cracks or repairs with some of the ground color exposed as spots which are probably production flaws.
