This is a gorgeous circa 1940's sterling filigree set purchased in a local antique shop, owned by the antique shop owner who originally purchased it in the 40's.
The necklace features an interesting and substantial chain. There are 10 round clear rhinestones, 2 teardrop clear rhinestones and 3 carved green fruit salad leaves in the center design. There is a round stamp marked sterling on the back of the central leaf. It measures about 16 inches long.
The matching earrings are screwback, marked sterling and feature the same filigree design and stonework. They measure approximately 3/4 inch long.
It has been rhodium plated, typical of sterling jewelry of that era, which protects it from tarnish. It is still gorgeous after all these years.
