Lovely, long Miriam Haskell necklace is crafted in brass with a gold tone metal finish. Solid piece incorporates the use of glass, rust colored beads. Four sections of the necklace use an 8mm round bead. Discs in both the matching rust color and gold tone metal act as spacers.
This pretty necklace measures 24" in full length-17" on. Approximately 3/8" wide. Stays secure with a spring opening with the Miriam Haskell hang tag attached. The closure also is hallmarked Miriam Haskell and has the patent number 3427691. Dating from the mid 1970's, the condition is excellent.
Jewelry marked with an oval Miriam Haskell hang tag, stamped through the back, was first used in 1951. This particular clasp was patented and first used in 1975.
