Vintage 14kt Knotted Bow Ring

This vintage mid-century bow style ring in a Venetian gold 14kt finish comes with a recent thorough appraisal for $1,120.

This is a "Love Knot" motif ring featuring one round brilliant cut diamond set in the center in a white gold four prong head. The top of the rope edge knot measures approx 14.36mm x 16.65mm x 13.12mm with a split shank measuring 5.55mm at the top and tapering to 2.13mm at the base of the shank.

The diamond weighs approx 0.11 carats and is SI1 clarity and I-J color, there is no enhancement to the diamond. It appears very clean and white to the eye. The size is perfect for this design and gives just a nice bit of glint to the design.

The 14kt stamp is inside the shank. The ring is a size 6.5 and total gram weight is 6.6 grams.

This is an antique shop find, circa 1940-1950's.
