Victorian Revival Garnet & 14kt gold Ring - circa 1940

For sale is a gorgeous garnet ring with a 14kt stamped shank. I believe this is a Victorian Revival style ring, probably from around 1940-1950. Victorian Revival jewelry was very popular from around 1930 to 1950 and these type of rings are often mistaken for actual Victorian jewelry from the late 1800's. The quality craftmanship and materials is so well done, you can understand why this might happen.

This particular ring came from an estate in upper New York State and has been in one family for over 60 years.

There are several layers of glowing traditional garnet red stones that make up this beautiful ring. The center stone measures about 3/8 inch long. There are 3 rows of smaller round garnets that step down from the center stone. All the stones are original and are in excellent condition.

The shank is 14kt and stamped on the inside of the ring. It is a size 6-1/2 but could be resized.
