Bergere Crystal Necklace

I am selling a beautiful Bergere crystal double strand necklace along with some unsigned crystal earrings that I found with the necklace at an estate sale.

This exquisite vintage necklace is 21 inches long when stretched out not long enough to slip over your head but long enough to fit all necks. The clasp is really beautiful. It is shaped like an eye with one large marquis rhinestone surrounded by 12 small round rhinestones and all are clear and sparkling.

The rest of the crystals are comprised of cones, round shapes, and clusters of 4 flower shaped margarite crystals, 10 groups in all. The wire work and rhodium plated clasp is in a silvertone. The clasp is in great working condition and I see no chips or damage on the crystals.

The Bergere company operated from 1940-1960 and made extraordinary jewelry. You can find many pieces today at very reasonable prices. I am including the beautiful 10MM size round crystal earrings in silvertone clips with this necklace. They really go great together.
