Vintage Hooper Bay Alaska Eskimo Lidded Basket Indian
Selling is a wonderful vintage grass Eskimo basket made in the Hooper Bay area. The coil type basket is finely woven of beach grass. The stitches are about 8 to an inch. The lad has a top knob and fits nice and tight to the basket. The body of the basket features some geometric designs in a deep red and green. The basket measures 7" tall and 5 3/4" at the widest. The condition is excellent with no damage to the basket. This would make a beautiful addition to your home or collection.
