These four Chantilly cream soup spoons are so shiny that I had a hard time taking pictures of them; yet, the marks on the back indicate that they are from the late 19th century and no newer than early 20th century. They do bear the marks of "Pat. 1895" and then the Lion, Anchor and G hallmarks and the word "Sterling". These marks indicate that the spoons were manufactured before 1950.
Chantilly is one of the most popular patterns by Gorham, an American silver manufacturer established in 1831. These spoons are 6 ¼ inches long and are all sterling. The sterling is from an estate in the Dallas, Texas, area. The spoons have never been monogrammed and show no wear or abuse. They would be a fine addition to your sterling set.
These spoons are priced at $75 each. I would prefer to sell all four of them together for the price of $250 for the four.
