Delightful urn-shaped Nippon vase with Egyptian Revival decoration from the early 20th century. This lovely vase has muted yellows, greens, blues, and dusty pinks in its decoration, with palm trees and a pyramid as the focal point. There is gold highlight on the handles and around the bottom and top of the vase. It stands approximately 5 1/8" high, the mouth is 1 ¾" in diameter, and it is approximately 3 ¼" at its widest point. There are two little marks under the glaze on the inside lip of the vase; they could be sane marks, but are not rough. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. It has minimal wear for a piece that is around 100 years old. The mark is the green wreath with the center "M", and around the wreath it says "Hand Painted" and "Nippon."
The photos don't do this treasure any justice; the colors are much prettier than showing in the photos.
