Pressed Glass Tumbler, 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition Souvenir

This scarce tumbler is more commonly found in milk glass but was also produced, as here, in 3-part mold clear glass, with the starburst patterned base typical of the period. Elaborate scrollwork and floral frames surround views of various attractions and landmarks: "Louisiana Purchase Monument", "St. Louis Union Station", "Palace of Machinery", and "Cascade Gardens".

A nice historical piece for the collector of fair memorabilia or the pattern glass enthusiast.

Meet me in St. Louis, anyone?
