Pair of Victorian Style Whatnot Shelves

These little shelves have some age to them but are not 19th century. Nevertheless they have a great deal of style and look terrific as supports for any small decorative articles.

They appear to be mahogany and probably date to the 1940's or 50's, but well made in a handsome fretwork pattern, and in very nice condition.

Delightful hung side by side as shown, or even better flanking a mirror...use your imagination!

Dimensions: 8.5" tall, 5.5" wide, shelf is 3" deep front to back.

Marks: None

Condition: Very good. Some discoloration to the finish on the surface of the shelves (see photo 6) Tight and well constructed.
