A large, vibrantly colored majolica dish, ca. 1880's, in the form of a Begonia leaf. Unmarked but nicely rendered in shades of rich green, pink, and yellow.
In good condition for vintage majolica, this piece is eye-catching and highly collectible.

Marks: Brushed decorator's marks on reverse (see photo 3)
Condition: Very small flake on underside at tip of leaf (see photo 4). Three pinhole sized glaze bubbles on green area (see photo 5). Overall fine crazing consistent with age. No cracks, chips, or repairs.
