Little Girl's Fan Black Tulle and Sequins with Original Box
This is a very tiny and special fan, made for a little girl. Designed in the French Art Nouveau style, black sheer fan leaf is highly decorated with silver sequins and mounted on shell sticks with silver pique dots and a silver tone loop. The original black silk covered fan box has a label inside which reads: MARSHALL FIELD & Co. CHICAGO, FINE FANS. Marshall Fields was a grand old department store in Chicago. It is unlikely Marshall Fields made fans, however the store had a fan department for retailing fans, this fan was probably made in France. 6 3/4"w x 5 1/4"h not including the loop. Condition of fan and fan box is excellent. Email me with your questions.
