Heisey Silver Overlay Lariat Bowl
Many beautiful Lariat items, including this shallow bowl, pattern # 1540, were manufactured between 1942 and 1957. However, this one, with its ornate sterling silver flower overlay, stands out from the others. The diameter is 8", the depth is 2", and it has the Heisey H. You will find a manufacturing line in the bottom, and the silver overlay is slightly tarnished and uneven in spots, due to normal aging and wear. Otherwise, it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It would be an attractive piece in a curio cabinet or on your dining room table.
