Art Nouveau Twin Lady Jewelry Box
This antique metal jewelry box is a wonderful example of the Art Nouveau period as it features two ladies faces, back to back, with swirling hair. Very organic curves, this design is typical and a favorite of all Art Nouveau lovers. The box measures 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is made of a black pot metal. The interior fabric is missing, it is stamped B&W on the bottom. Likely French, certainly French by design, but possibly American in origin.
