Victorian Engraved Silver Celtic Cross - Probably Scottish

The cross pendant measures 2 and 3/8" (6cms) long, including the ring, by 1 and 5/16" (3.4cms) across. It weighs 6.7 grams. It has a very attractive shape, widening towards the base.

On the front is a superb engraved central design of intertwined scrolls with tiny flowers.The roundel behind the cross has triangular motifs. On each arm there are lovely fleur de lis. This complex design becomes increasingly appealing the more you look at it.

At the top is a solid ring attached to a substantial bail for a chain. The back is perfectly plain.

So here is a most wonderful Victorian cross in fine antique condition . It will arrive in a gift box.
