This is a large vintage-circa: early 1900's-Czechoslovakian Bohemian garnet 900 silver ring. This particular ring is a very fine example of the distinguished & remarkable detailed characteristics of the Art Nouveau/Art Deco period. Superior craftsmanship. Hallmarked 900 on the inside band, it is typically marked for this period. A large marquise shape it measures 1-1/8" long x 1/2" wide. A "knuckle to knuckle" ring. It is a 2 tiered ring meaning the base setting is the band and outside marquise of garnets, a second higher layer of garnets was then crafted and assumed its position onto the ring. The garnets are juicy wine red, all are the same in color and richness..typical bohemian cut garnet jewelry are known for it's encrusted close-set stones which are often rose cut..this is such a ring. Absolutely gorgeous. The condition is excellent. Ring size 6. We are very proud to present this fine Georgia estate beauty for your viewing pleasure.
