Intriguing Vintage Estate 14k Solid Gold-Genuine Turquoise Articulated Fish Pendant
This is one of our most favorite estate finds. This hails from the sunny state of Florida found in an outstanding private estate sale. This is a rare 14k gold articulated fish pendant. This is not a small or lightweight pendant. This has an impressive 6.5 gram weight and measures 1-5/8" long (not including bail) x 3/8" wide and 2/8" thick. He is all gold and 3D. Hallmarked 14k on the scales behind his gill. The eyes are genuine precious persian turquoise cabochons. The body moves and wiggles and is a supreme quality pendant as each little scale is detailed right down to his fishy tail. Very fine craftmanship and in excellent condition. Every now and again we've had the opportunity to find one of these elusive little pendants, more than unusual and a good luck symbol. Most we've found is much smaller than this pendant. He is truly a rare fish indeed.
