FRIMA jewelry is made from beads and findings acquired from many high end sources such as the Miriam Haskell Company, only the finest European beads, other high end and special vintage sources, Bakelite and Swarovski. FRIMA has designed jewelry which appeared in Glamour, Seventeen Magazine and The Henri Bendel's Fashion Show. FRIMA provided consulting services to the Miriam Haskell Company in the 1960's and most of the designs are one of a kind or limited edition
This necklace is a choker with all beads connected by gold tone metal links. There are Swarovski amber color crystals and aurora borealis crystal beads, faux amber beads and at the end of the center pendant, an abstract butterscotch Bakelite charm.
The necklace length is 14 3/4" and the closure has lovely floral Victorian style design. I am not aware of why the designer chose to use silver tone findings for this necklace closure but I will replace it with gold tone or brass tone if you wish. The center pendant is 2 1/2" long and the others 2" in length. It has the oval gold tone metal hang tag signed "FRIMA". This choker is in very good vintage condition.
This is your opportunity to acquire one of FRIMA's designs. This is one of a kind. The blend of amber colors, gold tones and butterscotch Bakelite is very lovely.
