An absolutely lovely pair of Tea Tins from England. The original painted and gilded decoration has faded to a mellow, timeless look. As fine a pair as you're likely to ever see.

They originated in England, circa 1840. There are minor rubs and blemishes consistent with their age and their commercial use.
