This Victorian era footstool is in good vintage condition. It is round, which was a very popular style, with three ball style feet on the bottom. The sturdy wooden base has some scratches, cuff marks, and the veneer is split on one side where the panels meet. Small pieces of veneer (no larger than 1" x 1/2") are chipped off in a couple of places. The fabric on top is entirely covered with a black and yellow cross stitch pattern. The fabric and the stuffing are in great condition, no tears, no stains, nothing loose.
This is a very nice, useful antique piece with lots of charm. If only it could tell about the feet that rested on it, and the stories it heard over the years.
