A chance to purchase this sterling silver Combination Match Safe or Vesta Case and Sovereign Case. It has vesta at one end with the single sprung sovereign holder to the other. Having a curved rectangular wavy body shape with circular open cartouche, this delightful match safe was made by William Neale. Fully hallmarked for Chester 1895 with total weight of approx 38 grams. The condition is very good the hinge still works well and closes with a snap and the push button release for the sovereign case is also good. There are no dents or bruises that I can see but please remember that this match safe is nearly 120 years old therefore is not new.
