Verlys Art Deco Glass Thistle Bowl

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION – This Vintage Verlys Art Deco Glass Thistle Bowl has a classic three dimensional motif that is frosted on the outside and polished on the inside. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, scuffs or repairs. The manufacturer's mark "Verlys" is pen-etched on the bottom of the bowl. Circa 1935-1951. Considering its perfect condition, this Verlys Thistle Bowl would be a wonderful addition to a collection.

PRODUCT INFORMATION –Verlys glass originated in France in 1931 as part of the Societe Anonyme Holophane Les Andeyls. Verlys of America was established in 1935 a subsidiary of Holophane Lighting Company. Verlys of America produced class from 1935 to 1951. Verlys of America pen-etched the Verlys mark on each piece. Verlys of America closed operations in 1951.
