Vintage Hand Thrown Clay Pottery Vase in Mint Condition

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION – Beautiful vintage hand thrown clay pottery vase. The finishing is in shades of light blue, grey, cream and brown. The top of the vase is blue leading to seven bands brown over blue cream and light blue. Below the bands and the body of the vase is a leaf motif. At the bottom of the vase are seven bands of brown. The top of the vase has a high gloss finished and the body of the vase has a matte finish. The inside of the vase is in shades of blue with a brown swirl motif at the bottom with a high gloss finish. The piece is signed by the potter Huff. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing or water marks.

PRODUCT INFORMATION: Pottery is made by forming a clay body into objects of a required shape and heating them to high temperatures in a kiln which removes all the water from the clay, which induces reactions that lead to permanent changes including increasing their strength and hardening and setting their shape. A clay body can be decorated before or after firing.
