The City of Pleasure: Arnold Bennett: 1st Edition: 1907

The city of Pleasure: A Fantasia on Modern Themes

Not one of the better-known of Bennett's books, and consequently scarcer, this is a first edition, published by Chatto and Windus in 1907. It has now been reprinted because it is considered to be of cultural importance.

About 7.5" by 5"; blue cloth covers; 309pp plus a large section of advertisements for Chatto and Windus' other publications (this is on inferior paper and browned); tight and clean with some foxing - less to the interior than the frontispiece.

Please take a look at all the full-size photos. I can provide more if required.
