Occupied Japan Ocagco Octagon Shaped Leaf and Berries Decorated Bowl

This octagon shaped bowl was made in occupied Japan between the end of World War two and April 18th, 1952 when our occupation ended. It has eight sides on the edges which come together in a bowl shape just below the rim. It is decorated with green, gold and shadow tan leaves and plum colored berries and gold trim around the edge. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter and 1 3/4" deep. For candy or a special relish? Very pretty little bowl.
