Vintage Brown Drip Canonsburg 2 Quart Covered Casserole
This vintage brown drip Canonsburg 2 quart covered casserole has green tones in the drip which I think adds warmth and depth. It was manufactured by the Canonsburg Pottery Company which was located just south of Pittsburgh PA. and closed in 1978. The casserole is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The inside bottom has some utensil marks and dulling to it's shine. The outside bottom has a line of what I think is dried calcium from water that you can see if the light shines across it just right. The rest of the casserole retains it's shine and has only marks consistent with a vintage piece meaning some light surface scratches from use. It measures 8 1/2" across and 3" tall.
