This beautiful vintage yet to be used set of 8, 14 3/4" square pale pink Damask cloth napkins are medium weight and soft, giving them a nice feel on the hand and face. I love using cloth napkins, but too many of them are stiff or not absorbent and just simply not comfortable to use. I would look forward to using these napkins everyday. They are practical but certainly not plain. They are beautiful. The woven pattern includes two rows of 1/4" wide lines framing the rectangular shape of the napkin with ivy leaves and curling vines weaving in and out of this frame giving an ivy covered trellis overall pattern. Color is often difficult to capture in pictures but the pale pink color captured in the pictures provided are closer to the napkins true color than most, though I still have to say there could be some slight shade variation to the 'in person' color. Three of the napkins have some faint discoloration caused from use, but only one of them I would really call a light stain. All of these areas are pictured. I have done my best to give you a complete view of the condition of all the napkins through the pictures provided, but if you feel that you would like more pictures just let me know. Other characteristics of condition of these napkins include tight hems, smooth-no balling or runs and minimal wear-almost like new except new stiffness gone. Beautiful set, clean, ironed and ready to use.
