Vintage Schiaparelli Embedded Lucite Cabochon & Rhinestone Necklace Earrings Set

For your consideration I am listing this marvelous rhodium plated '50s-'60s vintage embedded lucite cab and rhinestone necklace and earrings set from Elsa Schiaparelli. As with many of her designs, look for unusual and interesting settings and stones. In this case, wonderful pendaloque and round lucite cabochons are embedded with an array of plastic or glass bits or perhaps faux or even real nuggets of stones / rocks. Embedded bits are in shades of cream, charcoal and gray. Sprinkles of golden glitter add spark. Between each necklace cab and at the base of the earring cabs, aurora borealis chaton rhinestones dazzle. The set includes the necklace, adjustable from about 13 inches to 16 inches with hook type closure and charmed extension tail. Decorative center spans approximately 7 1/2 inches with a maximum width of about 1 inch. The high domed pendaloque (tear drop) stones measure about 1 inch x 5/8 inch x 7/16 inch high. The matching clip earrings are approximately 1 inch x 7/8 inch x 7/16 inch. Condition of the set is excellent vintage. All components original, correct and intact. All lucite cabs remain clear and unblemished. No scuffs or abrasions. Embedded bits and glitter intact. All rhinestones appear original, are intact and brilliant with excellent ab color and light play. Rhodium plating on earring body backs and necklace reverse shows some contact wear. Earring clips strong and secure. No damage / no repairs. Reverse of end link on necklace is signed within a rectangular cartouche with "Schiaparelli" in script. Each original earring clip is signed in script "Schiaparelli". An eclectic mix of style and substance shine in this stand out set from Schiaparelli. Very, very nice! Please add $4.50 for shipping.
