Jomaz Mazer Rhinestone Pineapple Brooch Pin Faux Turquoise Cab Faux Jade Beads

Featured on the cover of Julia C. Carroll's "Collecting Costume Jewelry 101", rhinestones, faux jade beads and a large glass faux Persian turquoise cabochon grace this highly stylized brooch by Jomaz, circa 1960s. Sweeping leafy stems in matte goldtone with selected fronds in rhodium plated silvertone pave set in clear chaton rhinestones, converge in a crowned cap set with green glass faux jade beads. A large, high domed oval glass cab in a gorgeous robins egg blue anchors the brooch.

The pin measures approximately 2 3/8 inches x 2 1/4 inches with a maximum 5/8 inch profile.

Condition is excellent vintage with all components intact. All rhinestones intact and brilliant and much more white or clear than photo can show. All green glass beads intact. Faux turquoise cab free from chips, nicks, cracks, or breaks. All goldtone and rhodium plate intact. Pin back strong and secure. No damage / no repairs. Outstanding vintage condition.

Reverse of brooch is signed within a rectangular cartouche with "JOMAZ" in block caps with copyright symbol following. The also appears to be a stonesetter number "11".
