1940s Vintage Lariat Necklace Earrings Set Pierced Pleated Metal Dangles

Absolutely gorgeous work in finely pleated and pierced metal work. The spotlight shines on the exquisitely done lampshade type drops suspended from the earrings and rope ends. Marvelous warm goldtone finish (think MH Russian goldtone) enhances and entrances. From the finely textured multi linked chain and hammered earring lobe loops to the large embossed top crown caps and bottom filigree end caps the set embodies top quality. The center attractions are the tightly pleated tear drop dangles. Superbly done in pierced metal, shimmering as it casts a glow from ridges and creases. A play of light and shadows.

The lariat style necklace's rope portion is approximately 36 inches long. Chain width is about 1/4 inch. Each teardrop dangle adds another approximate 2 1/4 inches for a total length of about 40 1/2 inches. Knot the necklace as you desire. It will arrive flat, without knotting. The matching clip earrings are about 3 inches long and 1 inch at their widest portion (bottom of the teardrop).

Condition of the set is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. Premium patina (a warm goldtone --almost brasstone -- very similar to the Russian goldtone finish used in many MH pieces.) Chain links and earring clips secure. No verdigris. No dents or deflation. No damage / no repairs.

An outstanding 1930s-1940s lariat necklace and earrings set. A demi that looks divine in tandem, tying it all together, beautifully. Very nice!
