Thirteen lucky links joined with leafy textured silvertone foliage are set with chaton rhinestones in simmering smoky quartz in this 1960s vintage necklace by Coro. The golden age of rhinestones had truly come into it's own during the 1950s and '60s. The road to glamour was always paved with rhinestones.
Coro's necklace pictured is adjustable to about 16 inches with hook style closure and charmed extension tail. The decorative portion spans approximately 11 1/2 inches for uninterrupted coverage. Each link section is comprised of six chaton rhinestones, each about 3 millimeters. Width is approximately 5/8 inch.
Condition of the necklace is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact, retaining even, smoky quartz color with superb brilliance. Although deemed smoky quartz in color the stones are neither smoky nor cloudy in clarity. All stones remain crisp and sparkly. All silvertone finishes intact, front and back. No damage.
Original hook is signed in script with "Coro". Copyright symbol precedes.
