I have two rich in color and detail dessert dishes made and marked by B&H Limoges. The Coiffe Mark 3 dates these lovely hand painted items from 1890's to the early 1900's.
Both dishes have an unique scalloped gold edges with gold medallions. The color just beneath the golden edge is a rich forrest green with sprays of flowers. In the center is an additional ring of tiny blue flowers and and starburst design.
The starburst on each plate is a little offset, which just verifies all the more the hand painted artistry. There are a few dings and one gold medallion has a small chip which I have pictured for you.
There is so much time put into the uniqueness of this pattern only the photos can tell the real story. Each plate is approximately 5" across and comes with the attachments so they can be placed on your wall for all to view.
