You can never go wrong with Trifari. This company made a bold move hiring Alfred Phillipe in the early 1900's, a man who once designed for Cartier, Van Clefs, and Arpels. He was credited for his luxurious hand-set rhinestones into metals later known at "Trifanium".

The Trifari Crown Patent Pending jewelry history dates from 1950's. This lovely Silvertone necklace central feature's are the baguettes and marquis cuts of clear and blue rhinestones. The clear rhinestones are the perfect design for the delicate yet boastful blue rhinestones to burst forth and highlight the entire piece.

The Trifari Crown with Patent Pending is stamped on both the pendant area and the "J" hook on back of chain which ends with a dainty silvertone ball. The tightly woven snake style band has approximately 3" of chain in back for the length adjustment. This necklace could measure as long as 10" with use of entire extender chain. The necklace has regular wear and is missing one clear rhinestone, but still a great piece of jewelry history for your collection.
