Vintage 1960s Controlled Bubble Paperweight
For your consideration, a large controlled bubble paperweight measuring
3½" in diameter and weighing 3 lbs. Although unmarked, this impeccably designed and crafted art glass piece is most probably a Pairpoint Erickson (Carl Erickson designed) piece, circa 1960s. Noteworthy are the internal bubbles created in swirled pattern and second internal swirl of fine thread-like pattern centered within the larger bubbles. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches, save for the wear to the paperweights base (attesting to its age). A very fine example of American glass art.
