This fine stoneware vase by Larry Richmond measures 9" tall and is 4 ½" in diameter. Most probably created in the 1980's, this fine piece features hand carved geometric surface details and hand stitching; reflecting the influence of Northern California Indian basketry and the time Richmond spent working and teaching on the Hoopa Indian Reservation. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or flaws. Richmond's ceramic work is very collectable and this piece is a noteworthy example of his unique aesthetics and fine craftsmanship.
