Early 20th Century Ceramic Dancers Lamp
For your consideration, a early 20th century ceramic table lamp measuring
13 ¾" to top of fixture (the figures 9 ½" tall) and 6" wide at base. There are elements of modernism and traditionalism in this Art Nouveaux accented lamp, which features two stylized ballet dancers. The base is marked with illegible writing but which suggests that the lamp is of European origin. The piece is in excellent vintage condition. Noteworthy is the piece's earthen non-glazed high-fired bisque surfaces which gives this fine lamp a feeling of being a unique hand sculpted work. This is an unusual and spirited piece, equally at home in a mid-century or traditional environment. Great vibes!
