For your consideration, an original 1970's California Coastal Redwood burl table, circa late 1970's. I bought this table from a local Mendocino family who's son had made it in the late 1970's, using wood from their land and entirely hand fashioning the legs and top from original old-growth burl. The rare wood is over 1000 years old. It measures 17" high, 25" long, and is 15" wide and approximately 3" thick. This table represents a very fine and rare example of artisan hand-made work of 1970s functional art. Mendocino is a California coastal community that was ground zero for the 1960's -70's "back to the land" movement. I have included a photograph of the table with objects for scale (not included in the sale). This elegant modernist table is the real deal and not a non-vintage copy, and has vibes for miles!
