This is a very nice Herend porcelain hand painted inkwell circa 1915-1930s. The background is a soft white with a vibrant and delightful scattering of roses and buds. The tray is outlined in gold gilt along with the two inkwells. It is a beautiful set but does not have the lids, if there were lids. The tray is impressed "HEREND" but the jars only have the Herend mark under the glaze along with Hungary stamped underneath. And free shipping and insurance in the US.
Size -- The tray is 7-3/4" long 5-5/8" wide and is 1-1/2" high. The jars are 2" square and 2" high.
Condition -- I have found no chips, cracks or repairs but expect some gilt loss on the tops of the jars. Underneath the tray there is some original glaze drip along the rim of the foot which is minor but I want to mention it. And as stated earlier if there were lids, they are now missing.
