Gorgeous Bavaria Hand Painted Biscuit Cracker Cookie Jar

This is a beautiful hand painted Biscuit, Cracker, or Cookie Jar made in Bavaria Germany. This jar is stunning with a round body, exquisite gold trim, and wonderful hand painted flowers. The decoration is the same on both sides. The craftsmanship is simply outstanding and it is in excellent condition. The colors are soft and simply beautiful. This jar will make a great addition to anyone's collection or to use. Fill it with your favorite homemade cookies!

Size -- The jar stands 3-1/2 inches high without the lid and including the finial of the lid it is approximately 6 inches high. From handle to handle it is approximately 9 inches long, the opening is approximately 4 inches, and the base diameter is 5-1/2 inches. The circumference of the body is approximately 20 inches making it a good size to hold yummy cookies.

Condition -- I have found no repairs, hairlines, or chips. But there is some gilt fading on the finial and handles, although minor, but I want to mention it. Also, there is a small piece of leftover porcelain on the inside.
