Early Charles Krypell Modernist Sterling Watch Bracelet

The famous New York jewelry designer, Charles Krypell, opened his jewelry business in 1976 (he was previously a sculptor). His first collections were created in sterling silver. He later moved on to precious stones in gold or silver.

This watch is evident of the early Krypell design; the links display a sculptural effect. The case and band are solid sterling. The watch movement is quartz and runs well. (Needs a battery.) The face of the watch is marked Krypell Quartz and the last link of the bracelet is marked Krypell 925.

The watch will fit up to a 7" wrist. The links are 5/8" wide. Total weight is 1 1/4 oz.

It is in excellent condition. I have not polished it, as some collectors prefer the patina of time. This is a wearable piece of sculpture.
