Sheffield, England 5 Piece Edwardian Queen Anne Silverplate Coffee/Tea Service
This stunning set is a fine quality 5-piece Sheffield silver plated holloware coffee & tea service dating from the 1920s. Done in the classic 'Queen Anne' style, the bodies of all 5 pieces, including tray, are half-fluted, and the knobs and handles of the coffee pot and tea pot are black ebonized material (Bakelite?), with thumb pieces. The lids are hinged and in perfect condition. The lid of the sugar (non-hinged) is also black-knobbed, though the handles of it and the pitcher are etched silver. The tray is made by Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co., but it goes with this set beautifully. The top of the tray is etched. The underside of the serving pieces are marked: Made in Sheffield, England. I have many more photos, and will be happy to email them upon request.

In excellent condition with little wear, beyond a few minor scratches. Several of the the ebonized handles look like they may have gotten some silver polish on them at some point. One of the handles on the tray has some damage to it, and the tray bottom looks like it might have been set on a burner. See photos.
