Horsman baby girl doll, composition/cloth, 14" long, 5 pc hand knit set in yellow

I am listing two little Horsman Girls separately, dressed identically but in different colors.

This one is a pretty little baby girl, only 14" long, wearing a five piece hand knit dress, bonnet, camisole, panties and booties. She is a Horsman Doll, with beautiful, brown tin eyes. Her head turns nicely on her body. She has sleep eyes and most of her original eyelashes.

Her head, arms and legs are composition and her body is cloth. She has molded curly brown hair and one stroke eyebrows. She has all her fingers and toes with a few rubs and chips on the ends. She has a crack in the paint running down her left thigh, but it is not lifting.

She has some small chips on the top of her head and few on the back. Her body is made of muslin and is slightly stained from age and wear, but has no odors.

She is wearing a hand knit outfit, consisting of a dress, bonnet, camisole, panties and booties. They are knit in soft, yellow, acrylic baby yarn, from patterns that are my own design.

The dress has a two button placket in the back and a bodice knit with a moss stitch which gives the impression of smocking. The back of the dress buttons with two tiny white pearl buttons The bonnet is trimmed with lace and ties with a white, satin ribbon. She is wearing booties trimmed with lace and a white ribbon.

Her camisole is trimmed with lace and the bloomers are trimmed with lace on the leg openings.

She is marked "Horsman" on the back of her neck. She is probably from the late 1930s, early 1940s.

She comes from a nonsmoking household and is looking for a new home.
