Ox Blood Coral Necklace 14k gold clasp

This gorgeous natural Mediterranean Ox Blood Red Coral necklace is quite a find! Featuring two strands of graduated coral beads that measure from slightly under 4mm to 8mm in diameter. The color has slight variation as you will find in natural coral. There are some white patches on few of the beads as well as a few minor pits and natural variations. With a loupe you can see the distinct parallel lines, unfortunately my camera doesn't pick up such fine detail. The 14k white gold clasp is finely detailed with filigree work in a rectangular box shape. This inner strand of the necklace measures 15" while the outer strand measures 16.5". The total weight of this piece is 27.7 grams. A great piece for someone who loves red! The piece could benefit from a restringing, to add length you could have each bead knotted in between. The piece is older and could also benefit from a buffing to bring back some shine, if you are into that.
