Antique German Conta Boehme Scene

This little figure measures approx. 3 1/2" long, 3" tall and 2" wide. It is made by the German Company Conta &Boehm, ca. 1870-1890. It is in great shape except for one age stress crack on the back of the bed . Reproductions are made of these and sold in England, so I always like a stress crack just to date the piece. It is incised on the bottom but very hard to read, I believe it says "Germany". These were often used for prizes at the fairs and inexpensive nick knacks at the general store. Any questions e-mail.
