Dramatic bead woven necklace with pietersite stones in Medieval style

This is a really special piece! Spectacular bead woven necklace with stone cabochons in a somber Medieval style. Six uneven free form stones are set in the intricate beaded bezels. This stone is unusual in itself – it is called pietersite and rarely seen in jewelry. I used cranberry red freshwater pearls (cultured, dyed) and many colors of glass seed beads to connect the stones and form the chain.

The length of the necklace along the upper line is about 45cm (17 ½"). It closes with massive toggle clasp in antiqued copper plating.

The decorative central part of the necklace measures about 14.5 by 7.5cm
