Vintage 80s Tadashi Cocktail Party Black Wiggle Dress with Ruched Bodice and Crystal Pleated Ruffle Sleeves - Size S

Tadashi is still in business to this day and is currently sold in Saks, Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus and other high end department stores and boutiques

The color is a rich deep jet black - I have lightened several of the photographs to show you the details of the dress.

Gorgeous medium weight black taffeta is worked into this gorgeous dress.

The drop waist bodice is ruched in the front and back as pictured. The front neckline comes to a vee which is echoed in the lines of the ruching. The back of the bodice echos the front with the same ruching and plunging back neckline.

The bodice has concealed light boning at the front and back for a firm fit and is completely lined with soft black acetate.

The sleeves are beautiful - black taffeta puff sleeves with cased elastic on the top of the shoulders are embellished with layers of exquisite black crystal pleated organdy chiffon as pictured.

The sexy wiggle skirt is completely lined with soft black acetate and features a 6" center back walking slit.

CONDITION:

Near Mint ~ No stains, odors, fading, discoloration, rips, snags, holes, tears, or other issues.

Tagged a vintage size 8. However, as size designations have changed over the years, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Small.
