Vintage 70s does 40s Dress - Open Back Black Cocktail Party Dress - Hand Beaded with Gold Glass Beads - Size M

This beautiful dress features hand beading on the front with gold glass bugle beads. The neckline is richly embellished with six rows of bugle beads as pictured.

Classic New Look style with a fitted bodice, nipped waist and full gathered skirt as pictured.

The gathered waist falls slightly below the natural waist.

The short cap sleeves are cut as part of the bodice.

Exquisite open keyhole back embellished with a single row of gold glass bugle beads - fastens at the top with hidden hooks and eyes.

The dress is unlined. Does up the center back with a nylon zipper below the keyhole opening.

Designer label ~ only an illegible fragment remains.

CONDITION:

Excellent ~ There are no stains, rips, discoloration, odors, fading, snags, tears, holes, missing beads or other issues.

Gently worn and well cared for.

Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium.

Please note the dress is clipped to fit my size XXS mannequin and will fall better on the proper sized body.
