This listing is for 4 exquisite Late to Mid 19th Century Fiddle-Back Chasuble's and 1 Stole they are a wonderful collection of mid to late 1800's priest garments they are hand made of cream silk and elaborate embroidery.
1. The Good Sheppard with Passion flowers, in the center of the Cross 2. Crucified Christ on the Cross with metallic rays, and is lined with colorful fleur de lis. 3.Scared Heart of Christ, and is lined with very colorful Passion Flowers. 4. Lamb of God bordered by Latin words Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, dona nobis pacem, translated-to Jesus ("Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world"), supported by two Beautiful Angeles on each side and Angeles at the bottom of the cross on each side with the words ADOREMUSI, which is as Adoremus in Aeternum, yet another beautiful hymn of Benediction for the Blessed Sacrament. 5.This Metallic Embroidered Priest Stole came with the four Priest Chasuble's, and is made of cream and pink silk and is decorated with Gold metallic Wheat Stalks, Grape Vines, and Crosses.
These Sacred Relic's have only a little wear, mostly to the back and bottom of this vestment's, as the photo's reveal, and would be a wonderful addition for any collector. Please email if you would like me to email more photo's.
