This was once a very elegant LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY Creche figure, probably created for a noble home. Today the remnants of her silk dressing with metallic laced appliques are proof of her once holy splendor. She has an Italian pretty face with molded brown hair, glass eyes, sweet smile, carved finely molded figure, sitting with hands expressively posed. She has painted and gesso wooden head, arms, and legs, and body molded with hemp stuffing. Figure is 28 inch and has a fingers missing on left hand.
I have over 30 Creche Figures and would entertain a lot offer on them all. They have been together for so very long and I would be thrilled to keep them together. Email me for exact lot specifications. Only serious and respectful offers Please.
